Signature Landscape Lighting brings......Light to Dark Places
|
Signature has said that we bring light to dark places. Usually that is in reference to a corner of a property, planting groups or a part of the residence that needs illumination for either security or esthetics. Signature also takes part of their profits and donates to children's causes to bring "light" or a smile to very dark places in our city of Tampa, the US and globally.
As these are difficult times, Signature recognizes the necessity to help others, especially children in need, when we can. It is of great importance to us that our "good will" is well placed and well used. Which is why we select charities with operating costs at or below 10%. This way we know that the money is going directly as possible to the need. If you know of other charities with operating costs below 10% please feel free to make us aware.

On October 21st, 2009 Craig and Mary participated in a wonderful day helping to feed the hungry children of Guatemala. During a 1 day event we packed over 200,000 meals with 600 other volunteers. Children and their parents, people from all walks of life and faith or none joined in helping these children. One person packing food for 2 hours can feed a child for a WHOLE year! Twenty- five cents per meal per day can help a child survive starvation.
We looked for a charity that matches our practices - cost management, efficient and getting the job done correctly. This charity has operating costs below 5% which is incredible. They have fed close to 2 million children and will pack over 600,000 meals in the first weekend of December 2009.
The nutritional mix comes from Cargill and the rice from Costco who are partners with A Child's Hope International as well as Kroger Foods, Qdoba, GE, PG&E and many other businesses and community organizations.
